Moving is tough. This move was from Boulder, CO to Detroit, MI in the middle of winter. The team at Cross Country not only saved the day, they went above and beyond to make sure all our timing hit just right.

My stuff was picked up on a Tuesday and delivered on Friday of the same week.

The movers in Colorado were great - easy going yet efficient and very careful with my items. The dispatch team is as good as it gets.

Overall, dependable, quality service at competitive rates. They may be slightly more than others but when it comes to moving, you get what you pay for. These guys offer peace of mind and ease in addition to outstanding service. Would absolutely use again. read less

Cross Country Movers (specifically Joseph Chevalier) were incredibly clear and transparent. They walked me through the how to estimate and differentiate my boxes and the furniture I was moving. They clearly laid out the insurance options I had and advised what would be the best fit for me.

They communicated so well before, during, and following the move. They had such a great attitude working with me to find the right appointment time. When they arrived, they were so efficient moving out the boxes and making sure they were taped and recorded. They also were very professional adapting to a few different items I had to include when they came to pick up my things.

I stored my furniture at their complimentary storage facility and everything came back safely.

On the receiving end, the movers were extremely friendly, and were able to put everything back together with no issues.

Cross Country does a great job of letting you know up front how much things are going to cost. If you need to modify your list, you can call and they change it for you quickly and send a new quote. They were the best value when comparing across multiple companies. We were quoted 5-10 business days and got our belongings on business day #6.

They helped me move from California to New York, New York to California, and then from California to Colorado. They are exceptionally organized, labelling every box and item of yours and copying it down on a master list that is reviewed upon delivery. The movers have always been kind, competent, and mindful of the fact that they are moving items that are precious to you. The dispatchers are also great people. While there is a two week window of when your things will arrive at their destination, the dispatchers really do their best at getting it to you on the day that you need it. They give you plenty of notice on when your shipment will arrive. You can call them at any time, and they will get back to you immediately on the status of your shipment. One of the best things about Cross Country Movers is the price of their services. I was really sick of working with a moving company that gives you an estimate of how much it will cost for your move, only to jack up the price by thousands of dollars once your shipment arrives at the destination. This company charges you a set, concrete, reasonable price before the move has occurred. No matter what happens during the move, you've already paid for it, so the price cannot be changed due to "unexpected events." They're very flexible when it comes to your situation. When the movers picked my things up, I didn't have an actual destination for them to deliver it to, just the state (Colorado) to which it would be delivered to. They were able to work with this, telling me that I just needed to have an address ready to go within the two week window of it's arrival. When I still hadn't found a place to live, they were able to hold my things in their storage unit for a reasonable price until I had found the perfect place. All in all, Cross Country Movers has never disappointed me, they've reduced the stress involved in all my moves, they're incredibly reliable, they're loyal to returning clients, and they are the only moving company that I will ever work with. read less
