Thank God we found Cross Country Movers because we called them immediately, there was no room to change flights and when we called Cross Country, they gave a quote within 10 minutes, communicated excellent throughout the whole process and came the next day with a truck and packaged everything nicely. I was overwhelmed with the barrage of emails, calls and texts when I shopped around and was turned off my the "Crazzy Eddie" type sales approach. I decided to do my own research on BBB, Yelp and google, and found these guys. I would use them again.

They were on time with pick up and delivery considering I was under a time constraint to leave Washington and settle in in Cali. I was pleased to see my furniture still intact after the long haul. Their wrapping skills were on point, no dents, scratches or damages found as we unloaded and unpacked. The guys seemed knowledgeable and were self-sufficient. They did most of the leg work which I appreciated. Super thankful for them considering the short notice. How was I about to go about this to move from state to state without having to drive cross country? My friend suggested to go with movers on Yelp and I stumbled upon Cross Country Moves in DTLA. Rent in DTLA is ridiculous so I need to move for the better. I called for a quote, they replied back within 10 mins, maybe even faster as I shopped around for other places. Got my quote, of course it is within reason, would be less of a hassle then renting a giant uhaul and driving there myself and finding someone in Texas to unload my heavy furniture and belongings. They arrived ON TIME at my place and handled all my things with care. They wrapped up my fragile glass cabinets and tapped it up which was a sigh of relief for me, I paid a lot for that cabinet. Anyway, everything was packed neatly and didn't take as long if I were to do with my friends and I because we wouldn't know how as they are professionals. They even had special crates for my fragiles and valuables! Overall it was a great experience and helped me out a ton! They arrived at my new place on time again! That's twice now! Timing is everything because timing is scarce for me as I have to get on with my new life in Texas! I recommend anyone to saving yourself the trouble and asking Cross Country Movers what they can do for you!

Not only was Cross Country able to pick up my life within 72 hours, every single person I interacted with was kind, thorough and (gasp!) even funny! Moving is tough. This move was from Boulder, CO to Detroit, MI in the middle of winter. The team at Cross Country not only saved the day, they went above and beyond to make sure all our timing hit just right. My stuff was picked up on a Tuesday and delivered on Friday of the same week. The movers in Colorado were great – easy going yet efficient and very careful with my items. The dispatch team is as good as it gets. Overall, dependable, quality service at competitive rates. They may be slightly more than others but when it comes to moving, you get what you pay for. These guys offer peace of mind and ease in addition to outstanding service. Would absolutely use again.

  My husband and I recently made a cross country move from SF Bay area to Maryland. We used Cross Country movers and had an excellent experience. Researching online about long-distance moves resulted in many very negative and costly experiences, so we were naturally concerned about selecting a moving company. None of those concerns applied to our experience with CCM and we highly recommend their services. From the walk-thru with us for the estimate, to preparation, packing and pick-up, their entire team was a pleasure to work with. On moving day, the team was very professional and responsive. I had packed the majority of our household goods, but left the larger and more fragile items, along with the furniture, to be packed by CCM. They were extremely careful with our household goods in disassembly, packing and loading. They were very efficient and completed the load up in the time frame promised (1.5 days). They made sure to address any concerns we had with the move process and the security of our furniture and goods before they left.

I have to leave off one star because there was a LOT of drama in delivery — after waiting nearly 3 weeks for delivery I was told my stuff would be delivered after the "guaranteed" deadline. Three hours arguing over the phone got them to make the delivery happen in the agreed upon time. Other than being without my things for 3 weeks — almost longer — it was an overall positive experience! All my items are accounted for and looking good. Thanks to everyone, especially Tim, for your help!

The phone call took less than 20 mins and the movers were scheduled the next day amazingly. They were much accurate in their phone estimate and overall professional than the last company so I must say that I am very satisfied with their service. It is a few bucks more but in the end it's definitely worth the hassle.

We're expecting my father in law to move in with us, and we're moving apartments all in a couple of days so I needed the move to be flawless. We actually have a lot, I mean a giant collection of artwork and I was worried because we have had some disturbing experiences with movers in the past. However, I have to say Cross Country Movers was by far the best i have ever dealt with. They packed every single piece with care and extra padding and moved it thoughtfully. They would also always check in with me to see which piece should be next to be moved in. I was expecting all of this to be done in two days but this was all done in 1 day. I was so relieved to have saved so much time. This gave us more time to prepare our new home and we were able to have my father-in-law come in a day earlier than expected. The team was pleasant and better yet, professional. Usually with movers I feel like I am organizing a daycare with a bunch of grown men who don't really want to be there, but Cross Country Movers were different. They were very considerate, reliable, hard working, and all had a great attitude. And their prices are pretty good, this was money well spent… And to be honest even if their prices were more expensive I wouldn't mind paying it. Trust me, they are worth every dollar. Highly recommended. They will undoubtedly be my go to moving team from now on.

Nothing was damaged at all!!!They even unpacked my 4 clothes boxes and hung the stuff in the closet for me. This was not really part of the deal. Their price was unbelievably lower than the 5 other movers I had gotten quotes from. Their men were polite and professional. Last year I used a mover and they didn't pack my items flawlessly and some of things were out of tress. So I was very careful during my recent move. This movers also took care of my stuffs. So it was my less stressful and painless day. They are 100% professional crews. He is also excited enough! I hope and have trust that his journey will be like my move. They put in a lot of effort and handle your items as if they were their own. They also possess skills in packing and unpacking, which has been immensely beneficial. They are highly adaptable and always seem to figure out how to maneuver seemingly impossible in/out scenarios. Moreover, the office staff is so kind and quick to respond – they go above and beyond to make sure all your queries and worries are addressed. They supplied exceptional service and assistance at each stage. As we commenced emptying the house, they efficiently removed a pool table from the basement and an upright piano from the living room, along with the standard large furniture pieces for donation or disposal. Further along, they cleared our attic, basement, and garage of items we no longer required and later transported specified items to our offsite storage unit. On a separate occasion, a team arrived to dismantle and haul away old carpeting. We also utilized their packing service for our delicate items. The owner responds promptly to inquiries and his pricing is reasonable. All of the technicians working for the company are genuine professionals: punctual, amicable, meticulous, and composed. This crew ensures EVERYTHING is clean before they depart! What struck me the most was their understanding of how stressful this situation was and the reassurance they provided that this task could indeed be accomplished. Having such a delightful and concentrated team working to help us meet our objective was a significant stress reducer. We appreciate the efforts of all the workers for their assistance in this monumental move! They then promptly got to work, packing 85 boxes of books and various other household items with impressive speed. Within the first seven hours, they had packed and loaded one of the trucks, thoughtfully leaving me an area to sleep, eat, and handle my emails. The following morning, they were punctual, arriving shortly after seven. By just after nine, my house was emptied, cleaned, and all my belongings were securely loaded onto the trucks. The new location was close to the old one, and the team swiftly unloaded, unwrapped, and arranged everything in my new home. (They left the unpacking of the books to me.) The team from Cross Country Movers Group then departed just before noon. Their service was remarkably quick, smooth, meticulous, and efficient. The cherry on top was that the final cost came in under the initial estimate, making for a satisfying conclusion to the moving process.

On the day of the first move, he was punctual and we reviewed all the items in the apartment that needed relocation. Afterward, he briefed his two team members, who happened to be among the friendliest people i've ever encountered. They were extremely careful and patient. The following week, they returned promptly and completed the rest of the move. i can't recommend the technician and his team enough – they are real pros at what they do and you won't be let down. Their rates are very fair considering the successful outcome. I'll be enlisting their services for a third time soon.

Thankfully, a friend recommended a fantastic moving company to me. I went through their website which was incredibly detailed, covering many aspects of moving and potential scams to be aware of. It stood out from the vague websites of other moving companies. It was clear to me that this was the moving company I needed. A very helpful lady answered all my questions and even came out with her partner to give me an estimate the next day. The owner of the company, although a bit energetic and straightforward, proved his expertise during the loading process. He demonstrated exceptional problem-solving skills, especially when faced with getting some pieces out of a tight spot. We had made alterations to our finished basement after furnishing it, but they skillfully moved a 1000lb safe with precision and ease. Upon arriving in Modesto, they asked to unload a day earlier than anticipated, which made me very happy. The owner and the lady were both there working with the rest of the team to unload and set us up. Despite the extreme heat, they didn't waste any time. Every room was set up, boxes were neatly stacked as per my request, trash was collected, and the entire project was well organized. The entire move went without a hitch. Their team, which included several technicians, was truly impressive.

The work ethic displayed by the technicians was admirable. Their positive attitude, determination, and approach had a significant impact on my moving experience. They made sure to accomplish the task within the expected timeline, which relieved a lot of my stress related to moving. I was utterly confident that I was in capable hands!   I was initially quite apprehensive about hiring this moving company due to several negative reviews I had come across. However, my overall experience turned out to be really positive and much more convenient compared to other alternatives I had considered (like pods and moving boxes which either couldn't be delivered or picked up from my location, requiring me to hire separate movers for my multi-level place, and so on). The movers from this company were there to assist me at both the origin and destination of my move, which was incredibly helpful. One key to a successful move, I believe, was that I packed everything myself in advance. This included wrapping some of my furniture in plastic to safeguard the surfaces, disassembling items myself, and ensuring the boxes were well cushioned from the inside. I noticed that most people who complained about items being damaged or broken hadn't taken these precautionary steps. I strongly advocate for self-packing. Despite these precautions, two or three pieces of my furniture did get damaged (one side table had its legs completely broken off, irreparable, and a few shelves were scratched). These were items I hadn't cushioned or packed myself, and I think they would have been fine had I done so. However, the company was quick to reimburse me for the cost of the damaged items within a month and a half. A technician visited my new residence in Modesto to assess the damage after about a month. Although this meant living with broken furniture in the middle of the room for a while, it wasn't too much of an inconvenience. The movers at both ends were excellent — friendly and careful. In conclusion, I would definitely hire this moving company again in the future and recommend them to others. However, I must emphasize the importance of self-packing, keeping a close eye on all your items, and retaining any damaged items until they are assessed. There were instances when it was a bit challenging to reach the right representative, or when an unknown person would call me with a query. However, whenever I managed to speak with the company's representatives, they were fantastic. This, to me, is a sign of a large company's operations. Overall, I am pleased with my moving experience.

I stumbled upon another moving service online and gave them a call. They were able to confirm, using satellite imagery, that they could indeed deliver a container to my property. They promptly sent a truck the following day, which was when I had initially scheduled the other company to arrive. This moving service arrived as promised and successfully delivered the container as they assured they would. Once my remodeling was completed and I no longer required the container, they promptly picked it up the same day I informed them. Notably, their rates were more affordable than the previous company and they even included two protective blankets at no additional cost. The head of the company personally handled the arrangements, which left me thoroughly pleased with their service. I would assuredly reach out to them again should I require a storage container in the future.

  i'm really thankful and don't even know where to begin. i first encountered the technician in autumn to help me shift my one bedroom apartment into a pod. him and another worker managed to move everything in less than two hours! they were quick, efficient and ensured everything was piled up neatly and securely. the technician was also a great conversationalist which helped the time fly by. fast forward to now, i reached out to the same technician to assist me with moving into my new residence and he readily agreed! the move was a bit more complicated this time but he didn't throw in the towel, he tried all possible solutions and finally made it happen! i know if i ever have to move again, he's definitely the first one i'll be contacting! i would recommend him and his team if you're aiming for a quick and hassle-free move. thank you once again, it was really great working with you! 10 out of 10!
