As any normal person would be, I'm skeptical af. I'm giving you the keys to my car with a loaded truck full of my personal valuables, and expecting you to give it back to my thousands of miles away with everything in tact.

Skepticism aside, I took the chance with these folks and they made the process incredibly easy. The reason why I went with CCLDM, is because they allowed me 100lbs in the trunk of my car to pack whatever. My situation was interesting, cause no moving company would take my stuff cause I didn't have enough stuff to make the trip. Therefore, that 100lbs in the trunk really saved me.

Communication was excellent. The email response was excellent. Everything was great. I had a follow up phone conversation with John, one of their representatives, just now to ask how the service was, and I really appreciate them doing that. I put a lot of value into communication, and they held up their end of the bargain.

Moving across the entire country is a straight up nightmare, especially when you decide you're going to move on the spur of the moment like I did. Enter Cross Country Movers. These guys are honestly one of the most professional companies I have worked with in any capacity. They showed up exactly on time on pick up day, and proceeded to quickly, but meticulously pack the furniture (including some unwieldy unconventional items like a huge turtle tank) with moving blankets and other materials. Everything was packed up and catalogued in a matter of hours. The apartment was left spotless.

Since I was moving out of Orlando right after Hurricane Irma, I was naturally worried that stuff would get stuck in the infrastructural mess that followed, but to my surprise it ended up arriving promptly on the promised date. The entire time it was in transit, I was kept up to date by a very friendly customer relations agent that was assigned to me directly.

The delivery crew was just as friendly and professional as the pick up crew, carefully unpacking all of my belongings and placing them where they needed to go.

Overall, I had an amazing experience with these guys and will definitely be using them again and recommending them to all my friends. read less

All of their staff were patient and courteous with the details of my move, particularly my coordinator Joseph. I was unable to provide them a delivery date until several weeks after they picked up my stuff, but it was easy to get my things into storage and stay in touch until I knew the timing of the drop-off. Both sets of movers were extremely careful with my items, particularly the pair that loaded the truck; cloth and bubble-wrap galore. The only frustration I experienced was when they moved the timing of my drop-off several hours earlier than scheduled, which I did not learn until the day before delivery. They are definitely on my short list of who to call when I need to move again. read less

They had someone available it seemed like 24/7 to answer all of my questions. The paperwork was easy and able to be completed online in seconds. The rate was the best out of the three companies I had contacted as well. When they arrived they took their time packaging big items like couches and tables well with padding and inspected everything before they did so. The rate was very affordable, I was moved from a third floor two bedroom apartment into an already occupied single family home. Care was taken with every piece of furniture as they were wrapped in the provided blankets. Once the truck arrived at my final location, unloading went smoothly. The movers put each piece of furniture and each box into the appropriate rooms, asking for direction with items that were unmarked. They navigated around items that were already in the house carefully and nothing was damaged. I don't know how they managed to get a heavy sleeper sofa into the basement, but they did, quickly and professionally. best of the best rate!!! read less

I hired these guys to move my stuff from Boston to Jersey. I was mostly concerned with not damaging my 3 72" inch TV's and 60 gallon fish tank. Everything on time with no damages. I wish I could give 7 stars.
